Pathfinder has 2 facilities in the community of Jonesboro. There is an Intermediate Care Facility for Individualas with Intellectual Disabilities and a skills/activity center.

Beautifully located among many dogwood trees in a secluded setting in the community of Jonesboro, home to Arkansas State University, this facility is home to both adult male and female individuals. Individualized training is provided in all areas of basic living skills to assist people toward independent living. The home-like experience is staffed 24 hours daily, 7 days per week. Vehicles are provided at the facility to transport residents to jobs, work activities, shopping, entertainment, community activities, etc.

Jonesboro Workshop

Pre-vocational and vocational training are provided in this facility. Contracts for area businesses are secured by our staff and individuals have "on the job" training in a real work environment. Many other services are also provided.

Services Provided:
  • Pre-vocational Skills Training
  • Vocational Skills Training
  • Adult Development
  • Job Placement
  • Socialization: Socialization is also an important element of the skills training center.
    Individuals have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities with their peers.
    Activities, including, but not limited to; Field trips, bowling, Special Olympic, Country Store, etc.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • 18 - 21 years old - must have high school diploma
    or completion of school certificate.
  • Over 21 years old - Completion of school is not necessary.
  • Current documentation of
    disability Psychological or Physical.
  • Must be developementally disabled
