The Transitional Employment Training Program furnishes extended training and placement
opportunities
for individuals with disabilities by providing a more stringent industrial work environment.
Individuals in this training program typically work at a production rate between 50% -
100% of the industrial norm. This program allows the continuance of income opportunities for
those individuals pursuing competitive employment in the community.
Participants in this training program are closely supervised to ensure high quality products
and to ensure that the individual's maximum potential is maintained.
